Facebook is the new "in thing" it seems. I certainly notice when I go to college (I go part time as well as work), that just about everyone logs in to their facebook accounts on the pc's in the common room - but I've never seen anyone log into bebo or myspace (The latter is thought of as a bit "meh" nowadays amongst adults).
I've got a facebook, also bebo and myspace, but I rarely log into bebo nowadays, and myspace I only really use for friends who aren't on anything else - mailing them.
Oh, Scorpio - that annoying application thing, part of the beauty of facebook is it's uncluttered style (Contrast with all the emo themes people dress myspace up with), and these applications are really annoying. If however whenever you get an annoying one - click on it, then at the bottom right hand side usually, there will be a link allowing you to block that application - voila, no more pirate invitations
Yes, you get loads of forwarded (chain letter) stuff if you have a funwall, but I just delete all the obvious forwarded chain stuff. No I don't want to forward Mortimer the travelling bear, and I don't care if I have a crap sex life for the next 2 years unless I forward that mail - too late, it's already crap
