I got a DS wifi usb connector to go with my DS and it wont install. Anyone who can help?

Well i dont rate Nintendo's customer service

(This'll probably come up on google so i'll explain what i did for anyone getting the same problem, cos it seems a common one)

While trying to install, it kept saying "internet connection sharing error (6)". I googled this and loads of people said to configure internet settings so i tried to do all that but nothing made a difference.

I tried different usb ports but it made no difference.

So today i called the Nintendo helpline. For about the first half an hour it said all lines were busy and then it hung up. Then i got through and it said i was in a queue. I was in it for 45 minutes. Then i spoke to this awful girl who didnt appear the slightest bit interested. She said that the usb dongle must be faulty cos it wasnt picking up an internet signal.. or something like that. No apologies, no interest really.. just "take it back"

Anyway i didnt buy what she said so i played around with all the usb ports again, swapping loads of things around and stuff and eventually it worked

I think that perhaps it wasnt connecting properly cos i was putting it into a port where i had others connected in ones next door and beside it, so it wasnt going in all the way (the dongle is quite large). So i rearranged everything so nothing was in any of the ports near it and its fine

Well you could have avoided this hassle by using a wireless router...

Yeah i read that was the easier way but it was given to me as a present.

Yeah theres loads, its like one of them serial key gen things. But once you register someone, you dont have to do it for that person each time

well the PSN (Playstation Network) isn't bad, much better than the Nintedo Option.
