Hi all just a couple of picture's of work i did about 8 years ago now ..

not everyone's cup of tea but hope you like.

The bottom one was paid for by a wife as a present to her husband .. (anniversary) in the hallway of their house we had to have it installed by the time he finished work . biggrin.gif

Is that glass with the lead stuck on or the "H" section lead of olde?

I'm not mocking if it's the modern way. I've tried to do it and failed miserably by the way.

No the genuine article ''lead cames'' cut glass, soldered joints etc ..

But i can do the stick on stuff too .smiles.gif

It's good to see that craftsmanship still survives. I saw a documentary once in which an american & his wife were having a traditional timber framed house built here. The interviewer asked the american what he thought of British craftsmen. I'll always remember his reply. " The British craftsman will give you the best possible standard of work, if the British Building Manager will let him".
