i went into amazon, looking at a cd and it gave the option of listen to sample, so did that but nothing came up apart from on my desktop an icon saying 'hurl' tried again then on the desktop says 'hurl2' double click into this and nothing happens but if i try to delete it it says cannot and another program using it, it shoud of been real player but ive deleted that, deleted firefox which is the browser that i was using but this just won't go, anyone got any ideas.

I dont think you needed to delete your browser thats a drastic move but it should be just sat somewhere in your computer. I think you should also run all your anti-virus and anti-spy as a precaution as this sometimes indicates a malware program. If you have found the actual file that you downloaded it should just delete if not try a re-start and delete it straight away, sometimes when you download things like this and it wont let you delete, i find that this is the best option, i dont know why it does it maybe someone with a little insight into this may help.

try to delete cookies and refresh your browsers....then terminate the program from task manager you will probably get your solution..delete the file after terminating from task manager
