I'm sat here listening to Peter Gabriels "Solsbury Hill"...It's a song that never fails to switch me off from reality (or whatever passes for that) and I'm away, bopping to my little self and singing away.

It's not a classic, nor is it really my favorite song, but it never fails to lift, and take me away to my own little world for a few minutes. Something about it resonates in the mind.

I mean, 'favorite' songs can depend on your mood and how often you play them....but that one just bypasses my moods and creates it's own.

Any of you got one like that?

Good call. I may yet download that one. There are many versions though and I like the words.

You guys know that I'm a rave head so it's no surprise that the tune that does it for me is Little Fluffy Clouds by The Orb.

It always takes me back to one of the first parties I went to at Forest Hill near Oxford. I spent the whole time sat in a double decker bus (!) and will always remember the moment the sun rose and this tune came on
