There are two ways in which you can put pictures into your posts. Firstly, click 'add reply' and open up the page where you can make your post.

1 - Attachments You have a limit to the amount of these you can have. Upload direct from your pc to the forum.

• When making a post, click on the browse button
• Search for the pic you want to add
• Click add reply again under the posting box.

This however is an unreliable method and i advise the next option.

2 - Hosting Choose an image host from the internet such as "image shack" which is free and involves no signing up, or "photobucket".

• Go to your image host site
• Upload the image you wish to post the the image host site. Once it has finished loading it will give you a set of URLs or addresses.
• Select one of the URLs, the best one is usually the one which is a normal address.
• Go back to your post and click on the button which looks like a picture of a tree, above the posting box.
• A pop up will come up. Enter the URL into the pop up and click ok.
• Then click add reply again under the posting box

Is it the same for a sound file? Because i have a very interesting one, its a government information release, that was made specifacally to help Americans reocognise that well know British export, Mad Cow disease.

It clearly shows the early warning signs of Mad Cow, i think it would be interesting to the folk here, its an old one, and some may have seen it before, but other's may not have.


It's been done in Microshaft word, and i have tried to post it as an attatchment several times but it does not appear to work that way.

Dont think you can do it as an attachment but i think there'd be a way of uploading it to a host and then giving us the URL

I am still trying to work out posting pictures which is why I put that link up. The link works ok but I cant get that little tree thing to do the posting proper. I am still getting an error

I think imageshack has changed slightly recently with its links. Just go to the very bottom and click where it says "advanced" something or other. Copy the link it gives in there, and then click on the tree icon

Ok once the image has uploaded and you see a load of links, scroll right to the bottom and click where it says "Show advanced linking"




After clicking on it, the link will show. Copy and paste the link.




Go back to the post box, and click on the tree symbol. Then, in the box that comes up, highlight the "http://" insidse it. Then paste the link into the box.




And what you have in the post box, should look like this
