i ride mountain bike ,do about 10 miles aweek at moment as work is abit much.like to do more when i get chance.have weight bench at house but dont use that too much unless im p****d off to be honest.used to do a bit of scuba diving and canoeing, but moved away from area where the clubs were and have never really got back into it.when big bro leaves forces i want him to instruct me on rock climbing there is a good chance it will go way of all other sports though as work commitments and just general life get in the way.

OK, I walk to work and back three times a week (Good because I both save on car parking charges, and don't worry about some little scrote damaging the car). I take a change of clothing, and can shower at work if I really have to, but I hardly break into a sweat any more.

I never eat after 7.00pm, it can't be good going to sleep with all that sludge lying heavy inside you. I also drink half a litre of water before bed (Some say it makes you pee all night, it doesn't me, but it might others, so if this doesn't suit you, then don't of course do this).

I also lift freeweights a couple of times a week. This can lapse, but I've recently gone back on to these. This is very helpful if you are a guy, because after you reach your mid 20's, you start to get muscle atrophy, and as you lose muscle, you gain fat, because muscle takes a lot of energy to function. That's why many guys over 40 have beerguts.

Lastly, I jog just around the block (About 800 metres) each evening. Running is a great way to keep the fitness up, and although this hardly makes a difference, every little counts as Tesco says. If you make it brisk, you know how fit you are by whose house you start panting at shock.gif

After my previous post, now i do 7 miles a day on the bike, and then weight training and sit ups and other things to tighten my tummy 5 days a week. I wanna go running but i dont have a sports bra yet

OMG i couldnt do that. I do drink about two and a half litres a day though, and usually dont drink anything after 7.

I rollerblade in Central Park. I played ice hockey for some 15 years of my life, and rollerblading is a lot like ice skating except for stopping which is much easier on ice skates.

I'll accept your word for that. The only easy way I've found to stop on ice skates is to fall over. laughing.gif

I'm a runner. Have been a casual runner for about 6 months and about to start training for next year's marathon. The pounds are coming off as well, which is fantastic!

I also cycle to work.
