Hey I know people have been quite upset about the delays of the PS3 release but I just saw this new PS3 short promo film and it's very cool. If you haven't seen it, you should check it out.

Nah I disagree. everyone has already gone mad over it. I have now seen the new ad and i mean if the machine is as inventive as those ads than they're on to a real winner.

PS3, £600 for something thats we already have (xbox360 + wii) but the only thing different is the controllers. the only thing added is blue-ray, but i think you can be something like that for £100 for the xbox360.

...i own one, and i think they are great to be honest, the whole thing has surprised me, it does everything so well.

I will get one when the price drops by about £200, its £425 in the shop, so at that price it better be special

I'm deffo not going to bother until the price drops. I'm ok though with my old PS2 and new DS for now. I'm thinking of getting an XBox360 which seems way better value though. Doesn't bother me, but they say gamers regard the XBox as "cooler" somehow. Don't personally get that tho.

xbox360 is better, all the games that were the reason for getting ps3 are comibng out on 360/ coming out next year.

well my opinion on PS3 has switched (since i have one, contractual obligations).

I think its better than the wii by a longshot and also the X360 but a narrow margin.

The gimmick on the wii is motion sensing,

which gets boring after a while (and poor motion sensing games)

I may be tempted into buying one in a while but i'm not sure whether it is worth it as i haven't been that passionate about console gaming in a while. But because the HD format has been dropped for movies, i'm tempted to get one for the blue-ray. Decisions, decisions.

I've been told it's good with fighting games and rpgs but it just seems so expensive id rather get a cheaper console... im savin up for a console and I can use it at uni but will take pretty much all next year savin up lol which is hard when u have uni
