hi
i got a ps2 and they got really good graphics
if u get a portable it wont be as good because say if u had a racing game on a ps2 ( the tv one) then u get all the realistic corners and better sounds, but if u get in on a portable then it looks like your always looking ahead and when u come up to a corner you just press left or right once so its not as fun!

If u dont get what im talkin about then to cut the story short Get A PS2 Not A Portable!! laugh.gif

The only thing in my opinion that the PSP may lack in, in the future, is space on the UMD. Everything needs to be scaled down because of the UMD's size. But then again, it is a handheld and shouldn't be compared to a console. But for its size, it packs a hell of a punch tongue.gif

The psp will be rather fragile for a 6 year old girl imo, I think your better to get her the ps2.

Edit-

Get your games at a super market (Asda, Tesco) as they will be cheaper there, if you go to the game shop for the actual console you may find you get a better deal (Game, Game Station, Pc World).

Games range from older games £20 to the latest games £40 but the latest games at that pricing won't be suitable genre for a 6 year old, you may also find the super markets sell newer games cheaper.

Indeed I think you will find that a PSP is too much for such a young child. Try a normal Game boy first perhaps or DS and see how she gets on.

Hey well I know everyone has been talking about whether the PS3 will be better than the XBox 360 and I just saw this new PS3 short promo film and I believe that PS3 will be better, but I don't know, I wonder what other people think. If you haven't seen it you should check it out.
