Last night I dreamed of a rail line. The trains went at set times, like every 20 minutes or half an hour. However, there were certain times when no train was due and there was a gap in the service. At the times when there were gaps in the service, Rhyn's train came instead to pick up passengers. Rhyn drove the Rhyn train and Rhyn was written on the train. It had been arranged with the railway management that at the times there were gaps in the service the Rhyn train would come.

I wrote a dream I had the night before elsewhere but I'll write it in one piece here.

I saw a woman's face close to me looking at me. I was aware I had dreamed of Elixer. She was Elixer. Her body was close to me but I did not see her body but saw darkness where her body was. Our bodies were not physically touching but were close I could feel our bodies together in a spirit way.

Actually, Rhyn requested a dream thread on the [...] forums some time ago. I think the dream is interesting in that respect, also in the respect that Rhyn was a bloke driving the train. Your responce reminds me of something I dreamed some years ago:

How does one determine that a dream is "obviously lacking in quality"?

Can you kindly provide examples so those of us who are not well-versed in the quality of dreams can tell the difference between a dream with quality and a dream "obviously lacking in quality"?

I understand it is acceptable to post in this thread dreams that are "obviously lacking in quality" but not hilarious, and dreams that are hilarious and "obviously lacking in quality" but not "made up."

I saw there were bicycles left unlocked in the street outside a building. I asked a girl who had left her bike there if it was a bicycle riders convention and she told me it was. I had had a bike for a few weeks but it got nicked and I spoke to her regarding bicycles getting nicked. "If you have a bike in London you have to live south of Waterloo," she told me. Bikes got nicked in north London but didn't get nicked in south London. It was cheaper to rent a room in south London and I considered I should rent a room south of Waterloo on the Bakerloo line as Waterloo was on the Bakerloo line. I saw a map of the tube lines and looked at stations on the Bakerloo line south of Waterloo. It was the 2 stations immediately south of Waterloo I focused on as I didn't want to be far out. I was puzzled as the street they had left their bikes unlocked on was in North London. It was a street in a poor area notorious for crime and well known to be dangerous (I saw 2 kids walk onto the street after dark) where bicycles were very likely to be nicked in Camden.

Last week I dreamed that a woman now wanted to be with me because she had had a dream about me and had changed her mind about me because of the dream. I wondered if it was because she had paid attention to what she had dreamed that she wanted to be with me. She had paid attention to the dream as it had caught her attention. She had not wanted to be with me but because of what she had dreamed about me she now wanted to be with me.

At the end of last month I dreamed that a guy from the progressive rock band (who advertised for a house in the country in October on the forum) told me they were recording in September and had been waiting for me. This meant I had missed the recording. I told him I hadn't seen the message, explaining as to how I had missed the recording in September. I felt guilty as it was actually a few days after I had seen the message that I had replied.

It would have been even more impressive if you could differentiate between a dream and a nightmare! That sounds more like a nightmare to me!

Actually your quote makes sense now. I had a dream last night and didn't know where to put it untill now. In my dream i was a dead sheep and i was going around savaging people, dennis healy asked me to stop but hubba bubba told me to "go for it". in the dream the dead sheep did some savaging but i was the dead sheep and i couldn't stop savaging. the savaging continued by the dead sheep untill the savaging finished. i was that dead sheep.

I had a dream about Robbie , and I was one of the luckyones that got invited back to a stately home he was staying in, the chemistry between us was powerful but we didnt touch it was lustful gazes

This morning in a dream I was asleep like in the sky with my pillow in the air and I was aware what I was dreaming was good.

I dreamt that I was in my car, with my son and mt and brother, and when I pulled up to my house that there was a bus full of blokes (think they were footy supporters or something) parked in my garden so I told them were to go and shift their bus out of my garden. some of the bloke then got really loud and nasty and were shouting at me and then there was a smashing sound and my car window broke. So I started to drive off and ended up running one of them down but I didnt get into trouble because it turned out that he had tried to shoot us and that was what has smashed my window! It was really strange.

I had i dream that i was in bed dreaming, but when i woke up i was still asleep, this freaked me out untill i realised i was still asleep and had only woke up in my deam, so in my dream i went back to sleep, when i went back to sleep i started to dream, this is where it got complecated because, i was asleep dreaming about being asleep dreaming about beeing aseep. Have you ever tried having three dreams all at the same time. To make matters even worse, the woman that i see on wednesday was asleep next to me on a tuesday dreaming it was thurday and therfore should be dreaming that she was some place else. That was when my dog started dreaming i was taking it out for a walk, which coincided with my dream that i was taking the dog out for a walk and met the woman i see on a tuesday on a friday instead. I couldnt believe when i woke up, it was a saturday and the woman i see on a monday wasn't there, instead she had taken my dog out for a walk and my dog was still asleep. if this wasn't bad enough i was on the train but it was the train i take on a sunday so i realised that it must be wednesday and i was still dreaming. infact i think im still dreaming now. time to go back to sleep.

There hasn't been this much blood for ages.

I ran and jumped into a pool of water on Hampstead Heath at evening. I saw her walk up to the pool, we had gone to the pool together going from her house but she got the pool just after me. I was standing with her by the pool.

It was Christmas and I was sending a message to Eye Say in Private Eye. I saw Eye Say and my message was in it but the message had been changed. The message was about the resurrection of Jesus being in John and the gospel of Mark having 666 verses and I saw it started about the resurrection and John but had been changed where it said the gospel of Mark had 666 verses. Ian Hislop had put brackets in the message and written what he thought the message should have said. I was at a meeting of Private Eye staff. They let me sit in the staff meeting because of the messages. I was really angry that my message had been changed. I wondered if I should send the message, 'The messages were the Word of God. I heard the screams of those who changed the messages.' I had put that message in LOOT. They kept changing the messages in LOOT. The messages were from dreams and it really annoyed me when people changed them. 'The messages were the Word of God. I heard the screams of those who changed the messages,' seemed a bit too much of an abrupt angry message so I didn't think I should put it in Eye Say. I thought changing the message due to thinking you knew better, which I saw Ian Hislop doing with my message, was the same as what Marcus Aurelius had done with the bible. I didn't think they were entitled to change the messages when I was paying for the words. "That cost me over £100," I told them. There was a woman there, who dealt with the messages, who because of what had happened told me, "You can have the message for free." This meant that the message would be put in the next edition free.
There was a woman in the Private Eye staff who was a prostitute and we had gone out the back. She liked me and went to lead me into the woods for a shag. I wasn't bothered that she was a prostitute. I decided to go with her into the woods for a shag.
I was with her and she told me, "I like him as a friend but I don't want to shag him." It was nice she had said she liked me as a friend as it meant I was a nice guy. She was her friend but it was not her who had said that, it was her. I wondered if she was saying what she had said but she had spoken in the 1st person so was refering to herself. I was surprised she had said that. She was standing by a large ornament or statue and was smiling.
