This is a proven yoga technique: Lie on your back, focus your mind on the middle of your forehead, breathe in for 4 counts, then breathe out for 8 counts. Keep doing that and concentrating on it. It'll focus your mind and get rid of whatever's sending it round in circles. Also it's so boring you'll fall asleep. smile.gif

You need melatonin, its a cheap nutritional supplement that your body produces naturally at night to help you sleep, levels decline with age.If you are a night shift worker your bodycycle will be askew anyway, melatonin is released in waves in response to darkness, try a dark room (no light). Also 5htp is good as are the herbal supplement kalms.I used to suffer insomnia but do not now.

Smoke a phat spliff, that'll get you to sleep... or make you puke!

There are usually psychological reasons for this. You must consider what is going on in your life and what might keep someone awake as you might not think it is troubling you to the extent of not sleeping but underneath that may be the reason.

I've probably said before, but i have suffered with insomnia alot in the past. Fortunately i'm not at the moment and the main thing that seems to help is keeping a regular sleep pattern. If i dont, i know i'm gonna get problems again, regardless of whatever's going on in my personal life.
