I'm listening to this album at the moment and I must admit it's a world away from anything he's done before, he's moved away from his 'comfort zone' and gone completley different. Not at all serious, if anything it sounds a bit immature, nothing serious like his other albums. A few of the tracks (3 at least, amybe 4) sound like the pet shop boys are on it

Its very synthesizor 80's sounding, very 80's indeed. Theres nothing wrong with the 80's BUT it seems to ripping off the 80's sound. There's alot of talking on the tracks, his voice dosen't really come out at all. He dosen't really sing on any of them.
If it was by another artist i'd give it a thumbs down, but Robbie has the charm, charisma and marketability to carry this album off. I think this won't necessarily break him, concert ticket sales prove he wont be going anywhere, but I cant see why he's realeased an album like this, i'd like to say he hasn't bothered and dosen't care, but i think thats not true. I can say that there is definately something missing, perhaps the predictabilty?
Rudebox - is obviously a fantastic track
Viva Life on Mars - slightly wierd
Lovelight - another good track
Bongo Bong and Je Ne T'aime Plus - brilliant track, i'd like to see this released as his 3rd track off the album
She's Madonna - forgettable
Keep On - forgetable
Good Doctor - forgetable,
The Actor - it sounds a bit autobiographical, it brings home the fact that he's a screwed up as the rest of us

'cept we aint famous

)
Never Touch That Switch - forgetable
Louise- someone help me out here, this a human league track i'm sure of it.
We're The Pet Shop Boys - very pet shop boys
Burslem Normals - have no idea what he's doing on this one
Kiss Me - another rip off of an 80's track , can't think what one, probaly a pet shop boys one

but it's good i must say, its lively and i'm tapping my foot.
The 80's - this is good, very honest, very true, and probably very him in the 80's

sounds almost like 'The Streets' - has the Rudebox feel about it, i like the line 'it's the 80's you mong!!
The 90's - He's the type of boy i felt giddy over and fell in love with ( well at that age i thought it was love), I wonder if he's actually singing about his time with Take That

and he actually decides to sing abit in this one

this one is sad if it's autobiographical.
Summertime - Forgetable
At the moment i'd rank it the worst album he's done, you have no idea how much I really want to like this album, but at the moment its not one thats going on my cd player in the car,

but I will report back in 3 months time and i've let the tracks grow on me, and i'll be eating my words

Perhaps it isnt meant to be serious perhaps its meant to be like this, He sounds as though theres alot of reminising in this album, and he seems damn lonely. I want Angels, Millenium, Feel, all the good ones, I don't like change
Robbie Robbie Robbie. I'd still shag you

I've just noticed at the end of the album there is a track called - Dickhead - how many times can you say dickead and sh*t in 3 1/2 minutes, very chav sounding, it's actually good, but i wouldn't turn it up loud LOL
