Has anyone heard of or used nav4all? I am considering installing a satellite navigation system on my mobile and i'm doubting between tomtom and nav4all. I am concerned about the quality of nav4all and reliabilty. I don't want to install random software on my mobile and f-ck it up, you know... so has anyone used it before...? thanks smile.gif

Sorry chaz, I don't use either system, though I've heard of that nav4all before and if it works it should be a good thing.

It (nav4all) is going to have to spend some real money on advertising if it wants to compete with the Tom-Tom stystem though...

I don't need Nav4all or Tom-Tom...I know where I am.

Hey Chaz smile.gif

I used this softawe couple of months ago ,as i needed something cheep (in this case it was free wink.gif )for a trip to Europe.. I downloaded it and it worked ok ,i think there is no problem with its safetiness... But i was not very satisfied with its features and especially the detailness of the maps ..If you need it for highways and main roads it is ok ,but for rural areas sometimes you can really get lost as you c the main streets.. wacko.gif
chaz
haha, alright smile.gif thanks for the reply
I got the program and seems alright for now. I see what you mean by the detaiilness of the maps though. Tomtom seems much more userfirendly and interctive. However, nav4all seems pretty fast and downloads maps from the internet real-time, so you're not stuck up with unwanted traffic of maps you'll never use...

yeah ..true ..the graphics are one of the weak points. But we will see ,soon it gets paid ,i personally expect some sort of improvement afterwards wink.gif

But did u buy TomTom ,or u have just seen it somewhere...I have never used it , a friend of mine has it ,but his maps are really outdated ,so he switched to Nav4all,because he doesn`t want to buy new ones ..haha
chaz
yeah, probably it's be cheaper for him to start downloading only the maps that he needs rather than buying the whole bundles from tomtom..
My roomate has tomtom, i saw it on his mobile. Looks cool though ohmy.gif
And i heard that nav4all will have a subscription fee of 1 Euro per month?! Isn't that ridiculously cheap? Is this info credible?
