£5.50 for ONE click? i dont think so...

huh.gif

I've heard about that. I think it depends on how many searches the keywords have generated and if there arent many then its more expensive..

na its just a rip off tongue.gif there is no way on earth that anyone would actualy pay that

So call me "Mr Thicko" if you like, but does that mean that anyone wanting to use the name 'Slough conservatories' for example, would have to pay £5.50 to be included in the search results?
Scorpio
Yeah pretty much.

Anyone wanting to advertise their site, can use any number of words that when typed into the search engine, their site will show up. And the owner of the site pays a certain price each time someone clicks on their link.

I dunno how they price up each word, cos some can be from say.. 20p and upwards. I think the price depends on how high up in the search

I just finished the book about how they turned a Ph D project into a company with 4 times the market value as MacDonalds

The most expensive search term is about $30 - for some sort of medical phrase I think

Seems to work OK to me - I don't pay anything and they have the best Search Engine biggrin.gif
