It is funny you should say that as I have just started reading it (Deception Point). I've got just over two hundred pages to go. So far I think it is very good. I am where Rachel Sexton and the others have just been lifted off the sub. We mustn't forget that this his his second book. But I am enjoying it.

I've never heard of that one, but does the Omega plan work? And if it does is it effective?
I have started a biography of Micheal Jackson. It says fully updated. Whatever that means. It is not the first time I've read a book on a freak (actually called Freaks) but this one will be interesting. A white man who things he is black. A clown who things he is normal. A mental retard boy in a man's body. Sounds like a bloody good read. I wonder what else he does for a living? Apart from sleeping with young boys I wonder if he has any talents?

Kitty, I had to read 'the Hobbit' and 'lord of the rings' in high school. It scarred me for life. I can't bear to watch any of the 'Lord of the Rings' movies because of it.

currently reading Bryce Courtneys' - Jessica........again.
Give that ago Kitty. You won't put it down.
Or may I suggest another of his--'April fools day', keep the tissue box handy though, it's the true story of his son.
If you don't know the Author I'm talking about, Remember the movie 'The power of one'? That's autobiographical, about his childhood in South Africa.

I agree; I like delving deep into the perpetrators’ mind and see what makes him or her tick. The crime is incidental… well, not to the person he/or she killed… but the psychological make up is more interesting.

Insulting? No, not me… maybe over the top but what I say is meant to be in good spirit. No animosity attached. Remember the immortal words of the song; “All ways look on the bright side of life” my friend.
To your question; I’m probably single because my wife (ex-wife now) left me. I prefer Groucho Marks words “I would never join a club that had somebody like me in it.” Obviously she took it literally. Her loss. Not everyday one comes across a genius… now she is living with a medium rich mortal and doing quite well for herself. I can just imagine her crying in her wealthy lounge suite and thinking… “why did I leave him? The council house and all that.” As I said, her loss. I hope that every time she looks at her bank balance she things “What a fool I’ve been.”
I was there at the conception and the only person who had it in was me. Besides, they look just like me… beautiful, intelligent and just the right touch of genius. So who else could they be but mine!

Unless you are thinking of god himself. But, alas, no... he was my father!
God bless you my friend.

And just for you:
Some things in life are bad
they can really make you mad
Other things just make you swear and curse
When you're chewing on life's gristle
don't grumble, give a whistle
And this will help things turn out for the best
and...
Always look on the bright side of life
Always look on the bright side of life
If life seems jolly rotten
There's something you've forgotten
And that's to laugh and smile and dance and sing
When you're feeling in the dumps
Don't be silly chumps
Just purse your lips and whistle, that's the thing
and...
Always look on the bright side of life
Always look on the bright side of life
For life is quite absurd
And death's the final word
You must always face the curtain with a bow
Forget about your sin
Give the audience a grin
Enjoy it, it's your last chance anyhow
Always look on the bright side of death
Just before you draw your terminal breath
Life's a piece of shit
When you look at it
Life's a laugh and death's a joke, it's true
You'll see it's all a show
Keep 'em laughing as you go
Just remember that the last laugh is on you
and...
Always look on the bright side of life
Always look on the bright side of life
[repeat till end]
I mean, what have you got to lose?
You know, you've come from nothing,
you're going back to nothing!
What have you lost?
Nothing!

Then the first thing you run into is someone insulting you, being semi-abusive and basically trying to make himself look "big" to everyone else at the expense of someone else, it's a bit like kicking someone while they're down mate. Tenmen,
Yes I have woken up feeling down, miserable and totally pissed off. And I have come on various forums to cheer myself up. However, I have had enough intelligence to know that in the world of Forums, even outside our own front doors, there are all sorts of people. I also know that not all those people are mind readers (having empathic powers) so I might run into somebody who unwittingly – and I say unwittingly because their main intentions are usually good and honest – will wind me up, take the piss and rub salt in my already hurting wounds. And I have had that happen many times to me. Because of the various characters I have learnt to understand that not everything is as written.
You say “feel the ground” however, your winking smiley face was my feel of the ground. Therefore I plunged in. I also read some of your other threads, and the ones I read did not show me your pain. I can not do anymore than that. When Scorpio had a go at me on a thread a few people came wading in. I accepted that in all good humour. But nobody bothered to “feel my ground” because they only had words to deal with. Therefore I was good game.
I have no intention, or wish to look “big” but just administer my brand of humour and enjoy the good peoples on company here. Of course that isn’t everybody’s cup of tea and people will see what you see. Others will see what I am about and respond as such. You can’t please everybody. In all walks of life there are many people and one reaction might be appreciated where another will see it as abuse.
However, and saying all that I obviously unwittingly offended you. For that I apologise – like I apologised to Scorpio or whomever I unwittingly offend. So I hope you accept that. And in future when we cross paths I shall remember our encounter and deal with our situation appropriately. Lucky for me people like you Scorpio, Harlequin are a few and far between. When I came across FBG and mockingly had a go at him he took it in the spirit it was intended. And came back as like. I’ve been on other forums and realised you can’t please everybody. But when I do come across somebody of your fragility and make a mistake I am quite happy to bow to that person and offer my apologies with the promise that once bitten twice shy. Forewarned is foretold.
With respect,
Voice.

I am quite happy to go along with that and because of my mistake I am quite happy to accept that I am the biggest wanker of them all.

You never know... my real name might be Wayne Kerr.

Who lives at Tossers cottage. The magic one on the left. Just by the service station. Next to the cinema. Opposite the brothel.
Look at the bright side... wherever you go you in life you will always bump into a simpleton. Now you’ve met one when you are next feeling down you know what to look out for. Every day I get up I look in the mirror. It reminds me that god has a sense of humour. And if he can have one (and I can laugh along) then anybody can.
All the best,
Voice
