My phone is finally dying - going to have go shopping on Thursday (pay day) for a new one. Think the cheapest pay as you go I have seen (that's half decent) is Motorola SLVR L6! Anybody got one?

I bought one last month from Phones4U in Harrogate on a T-Mobile PAYG. So far I really like it and the main reason I got this phone was to replace my old Philips Savvy bought in 2001. I wanted a slim phone that was light because my pockets always contain other stuff, such as my pocket pc, wallet, various bunches of keys, loose change, batteries and other small items. My pocket pc has a camera so I wasn't bothered about the phone having one, although having tried it on the L6 I would say it is adequate, with fairly natural colours but over exposed results. I didn't need an mp3 player as my ppc can do this better than any iPod or phone, so the phone's meagre 10MB isn't an issue for me. Sound quality from the phone is loud, clear and surprisingly good. The screen is crisp and clear with good colour, so I am not sure why people say it has a poor one, although compared with my pocket pc it is poor but that is a slightly unfair comparison.
Navigating around the phone's menus and settings is pretty simple, even for a n00b like myself who has only ever owned one other phone prior to this. Some say the Motorola phones have confusing menus but I find them pretty logical and most of what you are looking for is where it should be.
One of the main features I wanted was BlueTooth so I could give my pocket pc internet access when out and about. Once I have bought a BlueTooth expansion card for my ppc, I will try this out.
I have also installed and used the Motorola Phone Tools software with the L6, and this really does make customising and backing up the phone a real breeze....enjoyable infact!
So far so good then but because I am a very low usage phone person, I cannot really comment much on call quality, signal coverage/reception or battery life etc. From what I have seen so far though I expect this to be of a good standard.
