I watched the FA Cup Final on Saturday & almost turned it off because of the stupid commentators. If they mentioned once about how unlucky Chelsea were in hitting the woodwork five times in the first half, then they mentioned it a dozen times. Let's get one thing clear, it's not unlucky to hit the woodwork, it's poor finishing. If hitting the woodwork from four yards out is poor finishing then why is hitting it from 15 yards unlucky? A striker has almost 18 square metres of goal to aim at & if he then hits the woodwork then he's missed it. The sight of Drogba hitting the post & crossbar with his hand as though it was the woods fault for denying him a goal was pathetic. The idea of a premier striker on £120,000 per week blaming some wood for his own inaccuracy is absurd.
There, I feel better now I've got that off my chest.
