Apparently, the average person in the UK now watches television for a mind zapping 3.8 hours per day. And I am supposed to interact with them and find them interesting?

Probably best to avoid interacting with average people.

I wouldn't be suprised if that figure was an understatement, there are probably people out there who turn the telly on as soon as they get up in the morning and leave it on all day long until late at night.

The thing is with averages is that no one can be the average lol.I know plenty of people who never watch telly but then I know some that will watch hours of it.
It's not like every person is watching 3.8 hours a day. Its just the middle of a very wide range of the amount of hours people watch it
