I recently stumbled upon an Australian based band called Mammal that are doing the occasional round on Scuzz TV, and they are absolutely brilliant. Their recent single "The Majority" is taking Australia by storm and it is well deserved of it's popularity.

It is obvious from the word go that this band are heavily influenced by Rage Against the Machine, which is a style of metal that has been truly lacking the past few years. Got hold of a copy of their album yesterday, and it's amazing to say the least. Their politically motivated lyrics coupled with their hard hitting riffs and catchy beats make this by far my favorite album of 2009.

If anyone wants to get hold of the album, i can help you out as it took me ages to find a copy. Amazon only have it on 55 dollar import, you can't get it off iTunes, and it's yet to hit all the big torrenting websites like pirate bay.

Brilliant aren't they. Can't get enough of them atm. I hope they start an international tour soon. Currently they're not doing much outside Australia.

Im pretty sure RAtM are going to tour again, they have reformed. And so have Stone Temple Pilots.
