Not Cooking today

Because I do a lot of cooking for friends and family they treat me
once in a while.
Today we are going to the Toby Carvery. It's a lovely inn and my friends from Ireland love it 'cause they don't have them there.

Take your plate and walk past the chefs > They will carve you, beef, turkey, lamb or gammon. As much as you can pile on your plate. You need an extra plate for the stuffing balls, sprouts and other veggies.

You can go back time and time again (not for the meat) but for the wide variety of vegetables and gravies.

I go for the beef and Yorkshire pudding which is filled with onion gravy. Too stuffed to have any afters.

Even without though, its still great value

Nope ! They bar children up here at a certain time in the Carverys. I think it's after seven. A bit of piece.

Only get vouchers at holiday times. Still great value.

The vouchers have nothing to do with children. I think my local one allows children at all times, but you dont always get the kids going. When i was last there, when the vouchers were on it was full of pensioners. Mind you the carvery meal isnt much over a fiver anyway but the vouchers bring more customers in cos everyone likes to think they're getting a bargain.
