Excellent Picture but wouldnt fancy walking among those birds.

Ach! Molly, they wouldn't harm you. Geese can be a bit aggressive but all they want is food. In my part of the world (which you know very well), there are signs up in the parks telling people not to feed the birds. Nor the squirrels.

I still take my semi stale bread to the park. They can't get through the ice sometimes to get at the fish. So they come waddling and skating at me. Yes ! they can seem a bit intimidating with all their squawks and quacks.

Sure, I understand that bread is not the best thing for birds but I would sooner see a live one than a mass of feathers which have starved and gone to bird heaven.

You know me well and that I speak my mind. What are they donna do if they catch me feeding the birds ? Ban me ?
