Last night my heating wasnt working properly, although id idnt realise at the time. It was on but not as hot as it should have been. I was freezing

This morning, gettign ready for work, about to have a shower but there was no hot water. Then i realised the heating wasnt working either. I was panicking trying to get it to work so i didnt come back to an ice cold flat tonight after work but i couldnt get it to work.

Called my dad asking what to do, he said he'd come round. But i had to go to work and i didnt want my parents snooping round my flat when i wasnt there ( they really would go through all my stuff) So then we had a bit of an arguement about me not trusting him and then i said i'd take the day off as an emergency and he was saying how its not a valid reason to get the day off. I bloody think it is, freezing flat in February!

Called work and they were fine.

I called out someone who said they'd call me back. They still actually havent called. even though i dont need them now

Then i saw my neighbour and she said a man up the road works for British Gas so she went and got him. Apparently the standard fee for someone not with British Gas to come out, is £200. This bloke, on his day off came and sorted it for £55 biggrin.gif Which is great. Saves me alot of money

BUt i'm pissed off that i had to lose money today from not working on a saturday

These people have just turned up. They never called before hand to tell me how much they charge - just turned up. He said it was ok and that i wouldnt have to pay anything, which was good.
