Yes! We have no water...! Nearby water was turned off, without "realising" that it would "affect" us as well. F**kers. "It will be on again in 24 hours."

"This is not just coffee, this is Knutsford coffee. The finest coffee beans have been hand picked and roasted to perfection, then ground between the buttocks of a temple virgin, flown by courier jet in vacuum sealed packaging. Given a police escort from the airport to the coffee shop, where some brain dead ex-student pours lukewarm water over it and serves it up in a polystyrene cup."
Oddly enough it still taste like Nescafe' instant.
But they charge you £1.65 for the damn stuff.

I have agreed to sift through twenty CV's from people looking for a job at my OH's company. I've got ten...she's got ten, but from what I've read so far we are on a fools mission trying to find someone on the strength of this crap presented to us so far.
Take the one in front of me now....She describes herself as "A young mother"...fine so far no problem with that, but she also states that she was in high school in 1973. Now I'm not ageist, but that's getting some real milage of of the phrase "young mother".
The next one is six pages long....not even gonna bother with that one.
Next time Harlequin tell her you've got a headache

I know the feeling, ours was on the market for the best part of a year, sold it once at full asking and the buyer ended up pulling out, hopefully its sold now, exchange contracts this week *fingers crossed. The sad thing is, we had to accept a stupid low offer too, one that was even less the the offer we had within weeks of putting the house on the market, that we laughed at.
