Nope. I changed bank accounts and when i called the building society to let them know, they said it was too late for the new details to register on their computer so i told them i'd send a cheque for september and the direct debit would start in october.. But it seems that all went wrong.

I know how much it cost him when he bought it, cos i ended up paying for it in a round about way

I dont wanna sell it on here though and cant be arsed with Ebay. It wasnt cheap but then it was hardly three times his monthly wage either.

My turn.
It's not what's pissed me off today as much as what's gonna piss me off for the next two weeks. I've been given a "High visibility jacket" to wear for safety reasons on a site I'll be on.
Fine...such are the rules.
Cept it's a winter issue jacket and warm as anything...I've got to wear a padded jacket in summer.
It's also brand new and so luminous it can probably be seen from space!....I'm gonna be 100ft up a scaffold! who's gonna run me over up there?

I've been outmaneuvered by the OH again. One of the things stopping me having to a major renovation on the hall, stairs and landing, was the fact that her brother was doing the electrical work, and getting him and me both free to work at weekends was damn near impossible......so I've had a few months of "waiting for your brother dear. As soon as he runs the wires I can carry on

"...or as I like to put it "weekends free".
But she pones me today to tell me she's got an electrician in to finish that part. (bitch!)
