Its not a repeat....a new dramatization. Might be worth a look instead of 7/7 - Attack on London which I'm sure will be really cheerful viewing.

My PC won't shut down. I've anti-virused it, restored it to earlier settings, but no matter what I do the damn thing starts up again.
I think my on-off button is buggered.
Anyone any other suggestions?

Have you used the button at the back of the tower to turn it off?

Its very useful for if the PC ever freezes and you can't shut it down any other way...mines top right hand side......its like a light switch!

I'll have look for it (I have to take apart some shelving etc to get at the tower properly)

Haven't you got room to slide your hand across the top and down the back??..the button is right at the top.

All this messing because she e-mailed an exel file. I blame her. Still, it needs a new cd unit, this way she'll help with the cost...or else no pc.

Try www.symmantec.com...........they'll scan it for you and you can download a fix (its the people that make Norton)

I am seriously pis*ed off that my Supermarket has stopped selling Organic Cow's Milk in waxed cardboard cartons, I can't seem to get this anywhere at the moment, but I'm not going to give up trying to find a new Supplier. If I get a Job the Supermarket will lose thousands *Grrrr*
