I don't know if this is the right place for this really...but I am slightly angry about it.
I've recieved a phone call...A joiner that I worked with and who taught me as an aprentice some years ago, retired early last september aged 62...Then on saturday just...dropped dead.
He was looking forwards to spending a few years fishing and taking it easy after a very busy life.
It just aint fair...the world OWED that guy.
He was a good joiner.

tell ya whats really got to me, the fact my broadband still has not been transfered, and ive been moved over two months , and just about had enough, time to change isp me thinks
What's done for me today...Getting up bright and early and setting off to fit a new kitchen sink and a couple of kitchen units into a council house....and the tennants could not be bothered getting out of bed to answer the doorbell...they knew I was coming as I had spoken to them yesterday. Lazy Gits!
That's screwed my entire week up, I'm going to be a day behind all week with no chance of catching up.

Camera battries ran out when I was wanting to take pictures today so had buy new ones.

Well, and I got to talk to some of my favorite crewmembers
Quarters today was fun too, try making 12 quarters at a time when you're only supposed to make 6 at a time (Thats an indication of how busy we were too...)
I was pissed off on behalf of my sister yesterday who took 5 hours to get home from Bluewater on account of M25 closure on a journey that should take 25 minutes
It's pissed me off for years, but today I'm going to tell you.
The inability of some people to use a simple device.
ROADS
Using mini-roundabouts to make U-turns. They are only there to show priorities at a cross-roads - THEY AREN'T A PROPER ROUNDABOUT
Overtaking on Motorway on-slips so that two cars arrive at the dotted line side by side - Ideal when the Motorway is busy.
Entering motorways at 45 degrees so that they can get into lane 3 as soon as possible.
Tailgaters.
And about a million other gripes, but I'm not going to bother.

my son casually mentioning some of his Mock GCSE results to me as he was on his way out this morning!
bushfires 8 dead 10 missing in S.A, and the heat it was 38 degrees today and muggy. The kids can't sleep, and the airconditioner's broken And I think the beer I've had is giving me a dehydration headache.

My son, who was admitted to hospital on Saturday night STILL hasn't had the operation that was deemed necessary at the time. (I accept that he is not an emergency case and must make way for those that are).
The doctors are now in disagreement as to whether he needs one or not.
If they leave it much longer he'll be able to walk to walk un-aided into the theatre.
