Anyone been watching Most Haunted live over the last few days. It’s like being tied up and forced to watch a cross between The Blairwitch Project and Big Brother over and over again. I recently got Sky+ because we can only get four basic channels where we live. Anyhow I was flicking through the ungodly amount of channels you get on Sky and came across UK Living which was showing Most Haunted Live. Of course the other half was immediately sucked in. Ah the power of live TV.

One of the show’s host is Yvette Fielding ex-Blue Peter presenter (Here’s one I raised from the dead earlier ) She’s the one who goes around with the cameraman and sound crew listening out for things that go bump in the night. Last night she was trying to raise the devil, which I thought was most hilarious. ‘Remember folks, don’t try this at home’ warned her co presenter. I was hoping those two brothers from Supernatural, Sam and Dean who rush in and stake her through the heart.

This show really prays on the fears of the gullible. I’m very open minded, and have a few stories of my own to tell, but when you take a subject like this, slap a logo on it, jazz up and old building to look like Alton Towers, then the subject becomes very laughable, and I did think the incarnation Fielding was chanting trying to raise the Devil was in very bad taste.

Not seen this halloween week one cos i dont have Living but i've seen Most Haunted and Most Haunted Live before and i love it. The first time i ever saw it i got really scared, which is unusual for me, but since then i just take it with a pinch of salt while still enjoying it. The whole thing with Derek Accora apparently faking things made me more sceptical about it

one year she had a laptop and was watching the webcams online, and me, her, my bro and sis all where around it looking, and someone walked in front of the webcam, just a member of staff.. and my brother jumped up and almost hit the ceiling, ran over to the other side of the room and cried in the corner.. it was so funny

Yeah, I had the webcams on last night, but I didn't see anything, I guess I'm too much of a skeptic

I'd like to give that a try. I'm a sceptic too but you never know

I too have stories to tell *mental note for new thread* and I find Most Haunted just a pointless commercial venture. I dont doubt that some of the stuff is genuine but you are never going to get a true sense of atmosphere through your telly in these circumstances.

I think once Acora left Most Haunted managed to salvage a small amount of credibility but Fielding just really pisses me off unfortunately.

We caught a bit of this last night - Paul Ross tut tut although I suppose it's one step up from QVC?

It was every bit as awful as I imagined it would be, right down to the fat bearded bloke (or exorcist as they billed him) opening the "gateways for spirits and demons"!

Saw it once.

When I say I saw it, what this actually involved me doing was shouting at the Tele for 15 minutes, ridiculing these idiotic wastes of airtime, whilst pleading with my parents to change the channel.
