I have been following this series on BBC1 and I have been impressed with the Expedition. It really nice to see that there are places on this world that have been untouched by us humans. I recommend you guys check this out, there are a lot of fascinating animals, and creepy crawlies that your darkest nightmares couldn't even imagine.
There was a part in it tonight when this guy jumped into a river to free up a fishing net, only to find it full of Piranha. JHC! That guy must be one short of a six pack to jump in a Piranha invested river.
Brilliant stuff, I should imagine on I-Player.

Same here i just watched the last episode, its one of the best programs ive seen in a wile, did you notice how it ended? With that guy slipping on that mountain side? Talk about dangle a carrot, i cant wait to see what different plants or animals are on the top, i just hope that when they finally climb on to the top section they dont find a message saying...... Killroy was here.

What a brilliant series. Thoroughly enjoyed last nights episode, what a truly wonderful place, I can imagine Arthur Connal Doyle being inspired for his story The Lost Wotld.
What a shame that at the end of the day this rain forest's future is in the hands of world leaders who are still refusing to sign up the the Kyoto protocol. Our government has not yet decided if its going to award this country carbon credits in exchange for preserving the rain forests. Shame.

Ive just watched on i player, its absolutely brilliant, interesting for us in that our country has been offered the opportunity to save that pristine Forrest. Guyana's government has asked for financial help from Britain in exchange for not logging in the rain Forrest.
I hope you guys will phone your MP and ask him to put pressure on our Government to accept the offer, ime going to phone my MP right now, and tell him that if does not contact the relevant government section that deals with this and get me a written reply telling me they are going to accept Guyana's offer, he wont get my vote.
Bearing in mind just how much Carbon Monoxide this beautiful Forrest takes out of of the worlds atmosphere, this is probably the best chance you will ever have of having a positive effect on a global scale, this is a real chance to make a better world for your Children and Grand children.
Not to mention that it has been said by Botanists that the Rain Forrest is so diverse in plants, that it almost certain that they hold a cure for every known illness.
Please phone your MP, and gently put on some pressure, this is the best way of helping you children you will ever have.
