Whats your local station like? Years ago mine used to be awful. They never played any current music and always seemed to play Genesis or Phil Collins all the time. Now though, i think its great, sometimes better than the national one / major ones and play all the modern up to date stuff

erm they have all dif areas so yes they have galaxy manchester yorkshire ect

Ah ok i think thats kinda similar to mine. Mines part of a network of other local stations i think cos sometimes they all do the same things a the same time. Like Graham Torringtons Late Night Love which is great its like a talk show for love problems or something. And i know that they also do the Top 40 chart show and thats the same as the big Capital Radio one in London

We have WISH FM - and I wish they'd pack up and f**k off because they are awful! It's like SMOOTH FM mixed with a NOW album.

The most local I get is Leeds Radio for the footy but that's been taken away from em grrrr

Nope none of those. I wasn't a presenter. I was part of the sales team that supplied the content for the commercial breaks.

i used to always listen to my local station, radio invita especially first thing in the morning while doing the school run, but lately ive moved over to radio one, less advertising and crap. but then chris moyles does chat on quite a lot

Vernon is only standing in for Edith Bowman though for 3 weeks, they have previously had Nihal, and the godawful Fearn Cotton - how she ever got a job in radio I will never know!

I've noticed her voice too. The way she pronounces her "sh"s is very irrititating

I dont mind Vernon though. But i do find him cheesey on the tv

I think vernon is funny (don't know about him on the radio) but he's funny on TV, but I need to be in the mood to listen to him
