A local paper has pointed out a problem with Sat Navs.

Large vehicles are being directed by sat nav through residential areas. Once the big guys would have stayed on the main roads, but sat navs are taking them on short cuts.

They are superb Andy. I use a satnav on my small sailing boat. Sure you won't go wrong.

There are dedicated satnav systems for HGVs. http://www.satnavcompany.com/productdb/sno...CFQHHGgodC2RV1g

Proves the old adage, "you gets what you pays for".

I brought a sat nav last year, used it in Spain, got lost more than once. All me and the other half did from the airport to the Villa was scream at each other, the sat nav was no help at all.

Here's a handy gadget no male driver should do without.
