hi there i was at the specialists today and my blood pressure was sky high
he told me that the other specialist i had seen should have put me for an angiogram a year and a half ago
he thinks i may have to get a bypass op
just a little bit scared yes even the big hairy arsed scot is a little bit scared

I had an angiogram four years ago after having a couple of heart attacks. Six months later I had a triple bypass.
The angiogram is a piece of cake, you won't feel a thing & watching your heart on the monitor is fascinating.

Three & a half years down the road since my bypass & i'm a lot fitter than before it. The trick is to have your bypass before you have a HA because when you have a HA your heart muscle sustains damage which never repairs.

I know it's worrying but they are performing these operations everyday & have got it down to a fine art.

Yep. the starved of oxygen bit of muscle/heart does not heal. I've a little dead bit on mine now. HA's are to be avoided.

one of my brother inlaws dead last year of a massive heart attack in hospital on the morning of a heart op
what a horrible way to go .
the think thats put the wind up me is we buried him on the 7th of july the day i get my Angiogram
