New me there is a new speed camera that has been installed. Alot of people have been laughing saying that its pointing the wrong way round. (not sure if thats the case or not yet, we shall see). But its a new kind of technology that detects your speed before you get to it, and so where as there are lines on the road after the camera, for this kind, there are now lines before as well. link

The camera looks the same as this but the two camera holey things point across the road on the one i'm talking about



Also, theres no rolls of film in there now, so you'll defo get a fine every time you speed Now in this location, i'm not against having it there cos its a very dangerous road, with a nearby junction that goes across the dual carriage way and there have been lots of fatal accidents. What i dont like is the ones that are put up in places that arent black spots and are just cash machines.

And this particular one is very hard to spot, what with it being grey with no orange sign on the side, and set in front of trees

No - I agree if it's a busy road and a black spot then soemthing is needed to get people taking the piss. I got done on a camera this year and in my opinion it was just a guaranteed £60 in the pocket of the police because it was on a dual carriage way where they had slapped a 40 mph limit on it but for no reason at all for 100 metres it became 30 mph (no residential area, no school, no retail outlet nearby - not even a crossing) in the middle of the route.

No that is just taking the piss..........

Nah didnt complain - my mate has had a few of his lads done for speeding in company vans that way any letters sent has fell on deaf ears and the fines office just fob you off.

There is something you can spray on your number plates that works a treat, not that you can go anywhere fast in a cab anyway

Muller light cherry yoghurt, paint it on with a brush lightly................then find a 30mph camera and do 60mph through it........and bob's your uncle. It only works with cherry flavour though

Swindon council are going to scrap all their speed camra's in a move to hit back at this evil rotten Government of ours, on account of Judas is going to stick the knife in your back, with the UK car tax robbery.


Swindon Council also say that the their speed camara's serve no purpose other than raising cash for Judas and Co Ltd, and they should know, the have all the relevent accident data for that area.

So its now official Speed Camara's DONT WORK they are there, purely to line the Governments pockets, well they have to find the money to fund their expences claims dfont they.
