Well i had a go. Found it a bit hard trying to follow it with GIMP rather than PSP. I did most of it apart from the last bit where i had to "Apply a Cutout Filter to the "picture" area". Not sure i have anything called Effects or 3D Effect or Cutout. I did learn something about shrinking the layers though. Thats why i have that black border

Just tried it in photoshop too and i managed to do most things until i had to do the cutout thing. Just cant do it cant work out how to do it in another program. Photoshop has a cutout tool but it seems to do something different

Tried with psp.. think i need to know where to find the Toggle Layer Palette button

Where do i find the toggle layer palette then rach?

I dunno your psp but on mine it's on the top row

On mine it shown with the arrow

It's just way it's written in old tutorials, it means open your layers

palette on the righthand side and pick which layer your working on.

When you resize your top layer don't forget to make sure "resize all layers" is unticked in the resize box
