I'm with BT and internet is with Tiscali.

I came home yesterday from a few days away, and somethings up with the phone line. Internet is fine but people cant call me and when i try to call out, i get "The number you have dialed has not been recognised". I followed BTs instructions to check everything but its still not working. I've reported it and they're looking into it, but i wondered if you lot had any ideas..

Could be your phone and not BT have you a spare phone you could plug in or borrow one.

Ah yeah i hadnt tried that. I've gotta get a spare one to try it

So i reported it on Sunday and it was fixed Tuesday. Not bad eh Apparently it was a fault at the exchange. I'm glad it wasnt a fault my end (usually is )

Why is it bigger than most

only joking they normaly tell me its a fault at the exchange
