The next competition, boys and girls and HQ, is to make a sig based on Best UK Forums. You can do whatever you like, so long as it is size 500 x 120 as normal and has the words bestukforms.co.uk in it.

Entries must be PMd to just me this time as AB is having problems with his computer. Entries must be sent to me by 7pm this Thursday. Voting begins some time after that.

I don't know if mine are good or bad, that's not for me to judge. But I've noticed I prefer a particular style when making my sigs for this comp. and even if there are five or six, I'd bet I can spot Babylons too, she has a style too.

you're right there HQ, I think I can spot most peoples styles. I still vote for my favorite sig not person though

No i decided on number 4 because it kinda made me smile.......................!!
Number 5 is ok but that doesnt take a great deal of thought but a good idea never the less.........!!
Number 1 is nice very artistic looking..............!!
number 3 must have had a few beers for that one...............!!

For me, thats what forum sigs are all about. Simple, clean and ties in with the colour scheme of the forum. The monitor bit is very clever too

Dont get me wrong i think its a great idea and i want the program there using to do it with...............

But for me i like to see a bit more of an effort and creating stuff from there own minds but thats just me ITS ALL GOOD NO WORRIES ........................

Oh woe! Is no-one going to speak of the third one?

Can you not see it's artistic depth? The plain white background speaking of the nihilism of the human condition, of the clash of colours in the text representing the whole futility of the second world war? The childlike (no doubt intentional) quality of the whole harks back to the abstractions of the Reibermiester era of painting with it's clever use of space and lighting effects. Can no-one see the sheer genius in the lack of mouse control in that sigs creation?
I'm sure the creator of that masterpiece of graphic art, is as we speak smashing his/her head against their keyboard and screaming "pearls before swine...pearls before swine" and bursting into tears.
When all the other pathetic efforts are but a fading memory, that third sig will stick in my mind as what we are all striving to achieve. It -I'm sure- become a classic of it's genre and become a standard sig on BUKF for all members.
