lesson one (crop image)

IPB Image

As you can see i have cut the picture down to a size which suits me, all i did was go into MS PAINT
which all computers have and chose the SELECT TOOL and selected the area which i wanted to use, increasing
its length in the process then just cut and paste to a new page.

Then by using the BUCKET FILL i chose a color and filled any white that was showing also use the PAINT BRUSH
to clear up any bits left over.
now save.................!

Lesson two select and fill

IPB Image

Now i have opened the saved picture in my PHOTO PROGRAM and again i have chosen a color and by using the
BUCKET FILL TOOL i have filled in my picture with a bright color of my choice........

Lesson three add flair to your signature

IPB Image

Here i have used a FILL AFFECT to add a little flair to my background of my signature, this is easy all
you have to do is select FILL AFFECT while still in BUCKET FILL MODE select another color of your
choice but as you can see i have chosen a lighter color blue and fill the area marked off by the FILL
AFFECT mode.

lesson four more affect

IPB Image

In the picture above you can see a new affect i have added this is called CREATIVE LIGHTING choose
this and you get varied lighting modes to choose from i have chosen FLASH LIGHT you can add as many as you like......

Lesson five finishing off

IPB Image

Now all we have to do is complete our signature by given it something extra look at the signature above
i have written the name of the person on the signature by selecting the TEXT TOOL i have chosen my style,
size and color and placed it where i would like it also i have chosen a frame for it how i did this was simple
go to the PHOTO FRAME selection and make your choice.

Lesson six resizing

IPB Image

This is really easy! find yourself a good resize photo site there are many on the web and most are free
i use RESIZE.COM just follow there instructions and there you go finished signature.

Now a word of warning to the wise this is just the basics of signature making not the full affect it dose
take an element of talent.
I.E. what picture will look good what style of writing and what to put these are to name but a few so good luck and i hope to see more sig makers soon

We all do it different, I always work on it the size it is gonna be, I find resizing it after distorts it a bit....and it loses its sharpness.

I never knew how to cut out pictures and i didnt realise it was so simple. Here is what i just did.

But it looks very messy. Dont other programs do something better?

And i dont want to pick holes, i really dont cos i think having tutorials is great but my mspaint doesnt have things called select tools and bucket fills. They are named differently and that might confused total newbs
