Waking the Dead.
This is one of my favourite British programmes. I’ve watched it from the beginning and it is excellent.
Last night was the beginning of season 7. Part 1 was on Monday night and part 2 last night.
It is well written and a top quality forensic/ police drama. The stories are excellent.
The programme follows the work of a special police team who investigate "cold cases", usually murders that took place a number of years ago and were never solved. The team uses evidence which has just come to light, as well as modern technology to examine previous evidence. Trevor Eve portrays the workaholic and often eccentric Peter Boyd around whom plotlines are often centred. As the series has progressed, storylines have focused on the personal lives of the characters as well as the criminal investigations (for example, Boyd's temper control in "Anger Management").
Does anybody else watch this brilliant programme? It stars Trevor Eve, Sue Johnston, Will Johnston (no relative) and others.

I used to watch it, but it got too wrapped up in the main chtrs....and I'm afraid there's a lot of bad science goes on in that prog.

Isn't there in most programmes. i thing the main characters give it that bit of extra tension.
