OMG! This looks like being the best Marvel offshoot yet.

I'll be banging on the cinema doors to see this, even if it's only half as good as the trailer...it is gonna be soooooooooooooo good.

The film looks brilliant. I grew up reading the marvel comic books and have all the films on DVD. Can’t wait until this one comes out.

I'll be dragged to see this by a couple of friends, never read the comic so it'll be new for me.

Worst film to come from a comic has to be without a doubt, Spawn CCCRRRAAAAAAPPPP

I see by the film clip that they kept his armour true to the comic books. He started off with a lumpy Iron suite and then went through different changes. The only thing I noticed differently was how he put it on. In the original he already had the armoured plate on his body – because of a heart condition – but the rest was put on manually. In the film clip he seemed to sit on a chair and it did it for him. In the comic books he could carry it around with him in a suitcase.

More looking forward to the Dark Knight later in the year - have seen a couple of trailers and this looks wonderfully dark (fittingly)! ph34r_anim.gif

I keep seeing references to that about the place. Not found a clip yet though.

Was never a great Marvel reader, but the film does look good. I take it that the clip showed the story of how he becomes ironman. Is there anything else I should know about him before seeing the film ?

(Thanks anyway)

I think the Batman films are a big improvement on the god awful "Batman & Robin" and "Batman Forever".

"Batman Begins" was very refreshing and this one appears to be following in the footsteps of it's predecessor in being very dark and macabre. Maybe it's coz I loved Batman comics as kid that I just have a bit of a soft spot for the Bat?

Possibly. I was an X-Man fan, so I was happy when they were made. They did a good job on the Silver Surfer in The Fantastic Four too.

I agree. Batman Begins was THE best film out of all of them. it went back to the beginning.

I am also an x-men fan, but the original x-men.

So which do you think are making the best crossovers from comic to film?

DC or Marvel

I'd say Marvel, the characters had more depth.

A brilliant clip. There seems to be some good films coming out this year; Dark Knight, Iron Man and Star Trek.

I can't argue with that... however, the Dark Knight and Batman Begins both seem brilliant crossovers; the best out of the DC comic bunch.

Not really. I think the preview told you most of what you needed to know.

Oh without doubt Marvel. Even the new Punisher film a few years back was true to character portrayed in the comics. I think Batman is the only credible challenger in terms of a good crossover from DC.
