After some reconsideration on who can use and view the adult section, we have put a password on it.

As always, its for members 18 and over and members who regularly use it have been sent the password by personal message. If I have forgotten anyone, please PM me or another mod and we'll send it to you.

There will be rules for giving the password to new members, which will be posted soon.

I didn't even realise I was using it till I got a pm (Thanks btw), every time I come on here, I just do a search for new posts, and post if I see any I reckon I can contribute to Never even noticed if it was in the 18+ area

New members over 18 will be given the password on request once they have made over 50 (conversational type, ie not forum games) posts and been here for over a week, providing we believe they are over 18 as claimed.

I've been here for most of my life and I am 106 next birthday but I haven't got a password. Mind you, I became indifferent to sex when I was in my 90's.

It may not be obvious to everyone the reasons why we have done this.

It was done as the area in question is the adult section, where porn etc is posted and so we have to protect the younger members of the forum. We as moderators and administrators have a responsibility to look after the minors here, as i'm sure you'll agree.

I'd be surprised if there was anyone capable of talking like an adult. Certainly I never do.

(Though I realise that may not be what is meant by adult chat)

Makes sense to me, Any forum I moderate or am an Admin on I think if it is an all ages forum, Password protection on an adult section is a good idea.
